LexQuest Foundation is organizing an immersive one-day public policy symposium, for students and young professionals.
The Symposium aims to reflect on the environmental policies and analyze their impact concerning the contemporary urban growth landscape of our country. The discussions and presentations will focus on the need to better the present legislative framework and to fill the prevalent policy gaps. This Program will bring together students and professionals from diverse backgrounds, with a keen interest and experience in the field of Environment, Law and Public Policy. In the company of field experts, the participants will gain perspective about the existing policy landscape besides getting an opportunity to be a part of a high profile policy discourse.
The recommendations put forth by experts and participants will be collated into a Working Document on Urbanisation and Environmental Policies, and will be presented to the relevant ministries and stakeholders.
At the Symposium, selected participants will present their ideas on the theme of the Program in the form of a Policy Brief.
