The lack of understanding and knowledge of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in India perpetuates myths and has propagated a culture of ignorance on the subject of menstrual health and well being. In an attempt to educate and raise awareness amongst young men and women on the challenges associated with menstruation and menstrual health, this Report presents an elaborate overview on the same, so that Right to Menstrual Health can be acknowledged as a legitimate public policy issue. As a part of The Period Buddy Project, we conducted a Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) session for girls of Class 7th and 8th at the Adalaj Village in Gujarat.
